Our server is S2M long range and S2RP using Rolling or P2L up close.
This server is S2RP at close range (inside /me range) I talked to swifting and some other people and we agreed on S2RP at close range and S2M at far range.
How to S2RP
1.Unholster weapon
2.Ready weapon
3.Aim weapon
4.Fire weapon
you must /me each of these. If your weapon is already unholstered you will have a large advantage during S2RP since you will be one step ahead of the oponent. FearRP is a large part of S2RP. If a rebel and an 05 are aiming at eachother they will both not be firing as they are scared that the other one will fire. Cover is a large part in S2RP.
Half Cover - This is the cover you would need to crouch behind to be useful,it could be a dumpster or a chest high wall,it provides some protection from shots but should only be used when no full cover is available.
Full Cover - This would be a wall,or a pillar etc. It provides full protection against bullets. Note that you have to lean out of cover to aim, therefore exposing yourself. If you blind fire, you will not hit any target that is in Half Cover+. This is the best cover you can get.
No Cover - You are fully exposed and will be torn to shreds by bullets shortly. You have no protection, which means that even if the enemies blind fire at you,you will still get hit.
Weapons - Scale from least dangerous to most dangerous weapons would go like this.
Pistol
SMG (No grenades)
Shotgun
AR2
OICW
Grenade
Magnum
Crossbow
RPG
Weak weapons do little to no damage to cover.
Medium weapons (AR2,OSIPR etc) would chip off pieces of cover and after a while they would turn full cover into half cover, but they cannot destroy cover.
Strong weapons (Grenade+) Can cause massive damage, and can completely destroy full cover and can even damage the person in cover. If an RPG is invovled, you have already lost the fight.
When your are under fire and in cover, you cannot return fire until the opponent stops, since FearRP would stop you.
I will add more to this guide soon.
