Why do you want tobe a Scanner?: I like passive RP and it's nice to see the various events happening around the city.
What experience, if any,do you have as a scanner?: A little. I'm a scanner on SZgaming and I've been a scanner once before.
Why can you be trusted as one?: I'm a trusted player. It's hard to abuse Scanner.
Ifyou are attacked what do you do?: Fly away, and document the event while transmitting live or recorded feed. Radio in the damage severity and request maintenance, going to the Nexus for repairs is recommended.
If you see a mugging what do you do?: Transmit a picture of it. That will usually scare them off. If not, remain there until help arrives. Radio in status composed of radio codes, don't follow commands from units that are not HC or dispatch. MAYBE listen to ground units if they speak in specific codes.
Explain what a Scanner is: A flying drone that acts as the eyes and ears for the CCA. They float around the city and take pictures.
Write a 10 line minimum RP example as a scanner:
"REQUESTING NEXUS EXIT;" "PERMISSION GRANTED"
/me Glides out from the small porthole.
"DECREASING ALTITUDE;"
/me lowers down to the streets, and floats through an alley.
/me Comes across two Citizens exchanging items.
"POSSIBLE 11-25; PROCESSING CITIZEN ID'S;"
/me Takes a picture of the two.
The two citizens notice the picture and immediately disperse.
/me continues scouting.
Later
"REQUESTING NEXUS EXIT;" "PROCESSING;;"
"PERMISSION GRANTED;"
/me Flies out into the sky with the cloud of scanners, and swoops down into the streets.
/me Snaps a photo of a woman hiding in an alleyway, then turns the corner.
"CONFIRMED 647E IN D2, REQUESTING 10-79;"
/me takes a photo of the Anti-Citizen, and transmits it to the MPF feed, then flies off back to the Nexus.
