What experience do you have roleplaying as a vort? - I have minimal experience of roleplaying as Vortigaunt,since I have never been one before.,But I have the basic knowledge of roleplaying as one,and I have read many guides.
Are you applying for slave or free vort?: I am applying for a free Vortigaunt.
Have you played as a vort before? - I have never played a Vortigaunt before.
IC background story (250 words at least.)
Gar'Yok is a Vortiguant who was born on an unknown planet near Xen.He was a healer in his Vortiguant tribe.His knowledge saved the lives of many of his kin.When the Combine invaded his homeland,he and a few of his kins managed to flee to Xen.Here,he was enslaved by Nihilanth.When the Black Mesa Incident occured,Nihilanth saw the rift as a chance to escape,and directed the Vortiguants including Gar'Yok to invate Earth.After the death of Nihilanth,Gar'Yok lived in the ruins of Black Mesa,with other Vortigaunts.They lived by eating headcrabs and dead human bodies.Gar'Yok managed to survive in this Vortigaunt community for a few weeks,until the Combine took over the earth.Then,he started fleeing towards City 11 on foot with his friends,but he was the only one who made it out alive.Here,before he entered the so called City 11,he saw many alien machines flying over the city,shooting at something.Before entering,he encountered some refugees outside of the City barriers.They told him not to go in there,since the Combine will enslave him or worse.He teamed up with those refugees,and survived with them for 2 years,when the Combine stormed the place out.He then managed to escape through the slums,and arrived in City 13,where he is ready to begin a new life.
