By applying, you agree you have high role-playing capabilities, you understand the HL2 beta storyline and will only flag up when there is a huge amount of civil unrest (JW+) you also agree that most of your combat will be through /me and you know how the combine assassins work. Why do you want to become a Combine Assassin? Because they're my favorite branch of the Overwatch Transhuman Arm. They're capable of clearing out rooms of rebels in seconds without a scratch. They can dodge bullets and can dish out a large amount too. For an OTA,they have (Or atleast look like they have) a lot of personality,even if they act like an OTA unit. They just look amazing,and every RP with them will be much better,and they'd improve fightrp and events massively.
How do Combine Assassins act? Like any OTA unit,I guess. I want to say they have a personality but that's because of the poster in city 17 (Come on,you can't pose that sexily without a personality) But since I'm scared of Swifting,I'll just say they're personality-less piles of augmentations and memory replacement programs.
Who gives you orders? OTA CmD,CmD and SeC. *Administrator can order me IF I am guarding them,but CmD+ overrule their orders.
You are called out of stasis, you come into the plaza to see 3 armed citizens firing at you from a distance, What do you do? Unholster my pistols,sprinting towards the citizens,dodging the bullets whilst firing at them,I'd close the distance until I am at melee range and begin to acrobatically take down each citizen,using them as shield whenever I cannot simply dodge an attack,they'd end up shooting themselves before they manage to hit me. At this point,I'd imagine dramatic slow motion happening as each citizen accidentally shot each other trying to hit me as I dodge every shot they fire at me whilst still shooting them. RP wise,5 minutes. IC,5 seconds. All three,dead.
How do they perform in combat? Armed and unarmed. INCREDIBLY acrobatic,imagine hit-girl from kick-ass types of acrobatic,but more acrobatic. High kicks,backflips,dodges,unarmed they'd be using incredibly fast,acrobatic punches and kicks,and not afraid to be outnumbered. Armed,the rebels may as well shoot themselves. Same punches and kicks,same acrobatics,but now she's firing every quarter second,incredibly accurately and without leaving herself open to attack. They generally use other rebels/citizens as shields during combat and they ain't afraid to use dirty tactics. When entering combat,they'll usually snipe the target (Which will hit,most of the time) If she misses or cant snipe the others,she'll acrobatically chase after the others.
Describe a typical Combine Assassin: Wears a more feminine EOW uniform,and that's about it. Stays in stasis unless needed,so won't need much of a personality,or any. Obviously the armour will be durable etc,to decrease weight,but most of the time,she won't be getting hit. She can still take a beating,and can survive low caliber shots (Such as pistol rounds) easily. Usually caries a sniper rifle and 2 pistols.
Write your character's background story (IC or OOC, At least 250 words) Linda Parker is an American woman,who lived in the crowded streets of San Francisco. Due to the amount of traffic in that city,she took up free running from a young age,training her body every day. There was a large amount of distance between where she lived and where she worked,so she had to get good. She worked as a self-defense teacher and due to the amount of physical training,she's quite athletic. She spent so much time exercising,getting faster,stronger,better technique. Eventually,she got into guns. Accidentally stumbled into a shooting range while practicing a run. Walking into the shooting range,the first thing she saw on the way in,was a 9 millimeter pistol. She knew that was going to be her gun. Small,compact,light and versatile,she could easily add it into her self-defense regime. After some practice with the gun,some more running and more physical training,she took up a second pistol,because she preferred symmetry. Due to the extra (But quite small) weight of the weapons,it didn't make her free running hobby any harder.
Once the 7 hour war started,she obviously sided with the humans. In the first few minutes of the war,internet services went down. She became a messenger,carrying intelligence to other bases. She avoided contact with the combine,staying on the roof tops and free running her way around. She rarely had to use her pistols,and when she did,it was mainly for suppression so she could escape. At this point,she was prepared for anything. She could outrun anything. Once the war was over,she quickly hid her guns and went into hiding. Once the "Universal Union" took over earth and made the cities,she came out of hiding. Walking around the plaza one day,she found a poster. "Combine Assassin" Looked good. Seemed to fit her. She knew this is how she'd survive. She took up the offer.
Why can I trust you to become a Combine Assassin? Mainly because I'm trusted enough to be a member of staff,but I'll give more reasons. I am VERY well experienced in pretty much all types of RP. PassiveRP,fightRP,PainRP,InjuryRP,FearRP,and I am incredibly open minded when it comes to RP variety.
What white-list's do you have at the minute? Uh...MPF,OTA,CWU,Headcrab,Citizen (Doesn't really count) City Administrator (Also the ONLY one) And Maybe some others but I've lost counj
