How long have you played on the server?: I have played on this server for three days now, but in that time I think I have established that I am a good RPer and a fitting member of this community.
How old are you?: I'm 14 years old
What experience do you have with serious RP? - I have been on multiple HL2RP servers in the year I have been playing. I started playing on LemonPunch, but gradually moved to other servers, where I have been staff and been a mature member of those servers.
Do you have teamspeak/mic?: Yes
Why do you want to be a moderator?: I want to be a moderator because I feel that I want to help out the community this server has already built itself over the time it's been up, and I think that I can be a mature and trustable member of the staff team when I need to be.
Why can we trust you to be one?: As I have previously said, I have been staff on multiple servers before now. On each of those servers, I have proven to be a mature, valuable member of their staff teams. I have never abused my powers as staff to ban, mess with, or otherwise harm the server community in any way whatsoever. I also feel that I am mature and serious enough when I need to be.
Explain a little about yourself: So, I'm Applez. I'm 14 years old and have been playing HL2RP for just over a year now. In that time, it has become one of my favourite gamemodes, and many of the awesome people I can call friends have come from these servers. I started roleplaying on LemonPunch, mainly because I thought it would be a nice community where I could learn roleplaying skills. Instead, I got banned for saying I got stuck in a wall, and it didn't help that my friend had named the character 'Veshpa Abernaty' while I wasn't looking. Anyway, many of my RP skills I learnt during my time on Relentless, which has been recently revived. It was a tough community, the RP was harsh, and the staff weren't exactly that friendly, but I pulled through. It was there that I first got into the MPF, and I also got my first position as Operator there. Eventually, I started realizing the 'community' was a bunch of arseholes, so I left. Since then, I've been a bit of a nomad, staying at servers long enough to get whitelists and sometimes staff, then drifting off as their communities turned sour. Then, on June 19th, 2015, I discovered you lot. In the three days I've been here, you've shown to be one of the best HL2RP communities I've ever seen, and I want to keep it that way by becoming a member of your staff team.
Write a 15 line example of any RP you want:
*The citizen walks into the shadowy corner of the alley, near to the Lambda symbol.
Fletcher Reed: Hm... This is the right time, he should be here by now.
* A quiet, muffled voice can be heard near the lambda symbol.
* The voice says: 'Hey. Hey, Fletcher, you there?'
Fletcher Reed: Yeah, I'm here. It's safe to open up, nobody's around.
* The voice says: 'Yeah, ok, gimme a second, alright?'
* A button can be heard, and then the wall begins to rise up, revealing a secret passage, and the owner of the voice. 'Miracle, at your service.'
Fletcher Reed: Miracle? That's a weird nickname, why do they call you that?
Miracle: It's much safer to talk in here, but they call me that because I get supplies just in the nick of time. Come with me
* Fletcher Reed follows Miracle, pushing the button to close the door behind him.
Fletcher Reed: So, you got the supplies I asked for?
Miracle: Yeah, all accounted for. Pistol, SMG, ammo for each, some medkits, and some antidepressants. I must say, this is one of the most diverse orders I've had.
*Miracle kneels down on the ground and lays the merchandise in front of Fletcher.
* Fletcher kneels down and picks up the weapons, ammo and medical supplies, puts them in his bag and hands Miracle a sizeable sum of tokens before going back out of the door.
Miracle: Thanks for doing business!
What would you do if someone was new to the server?: If they were new to the server, I would give them a warm welcome, to show them we're a nice community. I would ask if this was their first time playing and they needed to be shown the ropes, or if they had experience. If they had experience, I would leave it at that. However, if they did say they were new to the gamemode, I would take to an area where nobody else was and teach him the basics of playing HL2RP, the rules of our server and how to make a good impression on whoever they decided to roleplay with.
What would you do if two mingepunchers were killing citizens?: In that situation, I would the two to a place where nobody else was and ask if they knew what they were doing. Where I went from there would depend on the answer. If they said they were just trying to roleplay, and didn't know that it was wrong (And seemed genuinely honest about it), I would let them off with a light warning, and tell them to stop what they were doing. However, if they said that they were completely aware of this, and they were doing it for fun, I would most likely take action against them, asking a more experienced staff member for advice on the situation, before dealing out the punishment, which could be anything from being kicked to being banned.
What makes a good operator?: A good operator is somebody who is mature and serious in both roleplay and certain OOC situations. A good operator would also never abuse their powers as a staff member to get their own way in a situation. They would also need to be someone with experience in roleplay and someone who can clearly be trusted with the 'perks' of being a member of staff. Other than that, they would need not only good roleplay skills but also the skills to help resolve situations, and have team skills, as they would be working with the staff to improve the experience for players on the server.
What experience have you had as an admin in the past?: I have been an operator on multiple servers before, an admin on some servers, and was even part owner on a server that did unfortunately go down due to the server creator not being able to pay for it.
What are your in game characters? Name them: John Greene, A CWU worker with 40 loyalist points, and MPF-05.GRID.34892, an MPF officer with 68 promotion points to his name.
Do you understand that abusing as any staff position, is unacceptable and will be met with stern punishments?: I am completely aware of that, as it makes a bad impression on people, and my make people leave due to them thinking that's what the whole server is like.
